We’re working really hard to bring one of the most long-winded features to the site: Item update notification! When we started doing this there was no plugin that met our needs in terms of functionality, flexibility and performance. So we’ve been working our own way only to have this ready.
The most important reason behind this, additionally, is that we want to 100% control the user communication flow without breaking the site speed and user privacy. As you might have guessed, based on recent notification emails, we don’t rely on 3rd party newsletter solutions, which can be hard to be integrated 100% to the site.
So in the upcoming weeks, we will gradually introducing Item Follows Addon, which can be purchased once and used forever. With this kind of notification emails, you can download item right in your inbox, or forward to your clients so that they can install themselves on their sites. Please feel free to comment the use cases you can think of below.
Other than that, we’ll streamline the subscriptions so that you can move up and down them easily without having to reach the support. We’ll also probably retire the lifetime geek pack. Lastly, we’re continuing to ban the item leechers for good.
